The Salzgeber Vineyard in the Russian River Valley has been the source for our Sauvignon Blanc since the winery's founding in 1979. The grapes were havested on September 6th and underwent fermentation in stainless steel tanks to retain fresh aromatics and preserve delicate fruit characters. Our Sauvignon Blanc has slight floral aromas that are balanced with notes of gooseberry, grapefruit and citrus peel. The palate is juicy with ripe pineapple flavors, and the finish exhibits a slight mineral character and subtle lime notes.
