A "super Tuscan" style blend of: 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Sangiovese, 18% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petite Verdot, 1% Merlot. In barrel, these wines showed the deep, intense, "teeth-staining" characteristics Pritchard Hill is known for. This rich, fruit forward wine is surprisingly smooth and silky for its age, easy to enjoy young. The small percentage of sangiovese provides the "aggio" on the end of the name as well as a spicy note of black cherry and pepper. |
