The Renwood Old Vines comes from a blend of eight of Amador County's oldest and most venerable vineyards. With and average age of at least 50 years, these 'head pruned' low-yielding sites provide Renwood with a wonderful selection of even ripened, concentrated Zinfandel fruit. The wine is aged 16 months in American Oak. Aromas of dusty berry, chocolate, white pepper and vanilla highlight this wine. Try this wine with a variety of dishes including grilled sausages, roasted vegetables and, of course, any Mediterranean or Italian fare. |
