92 points Stephen Tanzer: 'Bright, pale, green-tinged yellow. Captivating aromas of nectarine and crushed rock. Rich, tactile and smooth, with strong stony minerality and a saline element giving the mid-palate a dry impression today. Less fruity and sweet than the Durell wine today, but very long on the aftertaste. Tor Kenward stirs his chardonnays almost until the bottling, which in the case of these 2008s took place in February of 2011."
92-94 points Robert Parker: "The 2009 Tor Chardonnay Hudson Vineyard displays a more exotic tropical fruit note intermixed with roasted hazelnuts, pineapples, mango and buttery citrus. It has the same size and texture of the Durell cuvee, but a completely different aromatic and flavor profile." (12/10)
