2009 Wente Riva Ranch Arroyo Seco Chardonnay

GOLD MEDAL, 2006 LOS ANGELES COUNTY FAIR WINE COMP The 2004 Riva Ranch Chardonnay is an exceptional balance between the characters of the fruit, the sur lie barrel ageing, and the malolactic fermentation. As usual, the fruit component of our Arroyo Seco Chardonnay is tropical in nature, with bright green apple aromas surrounded by hints of vanillas, graham, and toast from the barrels. Rounding out this wine is the subtle level of butter from the malolactic fermentation, providing a full mouth feel and smooth finish
